Defined service activities for Middleware operations are as follows. 2 FTEs are estimated to perform following tasks. To provide Web Middleware system administration under the leader of current WME Shenzhen Japan and work will be transferred and shared by them
•“Middleware” includes any component that WME/web team hosts.
1. Application Troubleshooting/problem determination
2. Infrastructure/middleware troubleshooting/problem determination
3. Promote application code changes, following change control process
4. Middleware configuration changes
5. Application content updates
6. Application configuration changes
7. Log file rotation, pruning, archiving
8. Middleware environment performance tuning
9. Middleware environment performance monitoring
10. Middleware application performance tuning
11. Middleware application monitoring
12. Middleware investigation
13. Middleware operation
14. Log transferring if requested
15. Application hosting representative for IBM internal (BTMT) process
16. Middleware installation
17. Application installation
•Able to work on flexible hours
Required
Bachelor's Degree
At least 1 year experience in system adminstrator
English: Fluent
Japanese: Fluent
Additional information
1)Japanese level: JLPT 3 or above
2) English Level: CET4. Good at written, Reading, Speaking.
3)Knowledge of AIX
4)Knowledge of WAS or MQ
5)Bachelor degree in Computer Science or other related major
6)1+ years experience with System Administrator
